The Issues

Economic Development & Infrastructure

Doug has a firm grasp of the complex issues faced in today's business market. He firmly believes District 42 has the best components to become the regional economic engine. Doug will work tirelessly to energize the stakeholders to continue working toward common goals to improve our area.

Education

 

Doug believes education is the foundation for a successful life. For our children to get ahead, we must start early and allocate the necessary resources to ensure academic success in their future. Learning begins at birth, and so should our efforts in educating our children.

Healthcare

 

Doug will work with the Department of Health and Hospitals to address public health issues for all people in Louisiana. He will support collaborations between local, state, and national communities to develop and implement policies supporting healthcare.
